Caring & Support

Fellowship groups are where bonds are formed between members of our congregation. Opportunities are available for any age, and for a wide variety of interests.

An important part of our Sunday morning schedule is the coffee hour between the services. Gather in Brewer Hall at 9:30 am to enjoy a bagel, muffin or doughnut, and catch up on the latest news!

Our annual International Luncheon is held each spring. It is a church potluck like no other: members bring dishes from their “home” country, and so the foods offered are varied indeed. This is just one of many ways that our congregation comes together to celebrate our diversity.

How Can I Help?

Pray for the people included in Sunday morning prayers and listed in the The Wesley Herald newsletter.

Donate cash or food to Carty Cupboard.

Donate used eyeglasses to the Medical Ministry.

Families supported by the Interfaith Hospitality Network are hosted at Wesley United Methodist Church for two weeks each year. If you are interested in volunteering your time to support this ministry, please contact the church office.

Save your Shaw’s grocery receipts, and bring them to the church office. These receipts may be placed in the box for “Stand Up for Kids.” Shaw’s has agreed to donate 1% of the total of all receipts redeemed for this important cause.

Purchase a grocery store gift card to use at Big Y, Shaw’s or Stop & Shop to give Hope for Housing.

Join a team serving in mission.

Check out the current ministries being promoted by the United Methodist Women and Christian Education.

Contact Pastor Shandi and ask how your talents may be put to use!
