We are women with a purpose
Building on an organizational legacy of more than 150 years, the local United Women in Faith unit at Wesley United Methodist Church in Worcester, Mass. is a community of faithful women who support initiatives that focus on the needs of women, youth and children in Worcester, the region and the world.
We seek to learn more about the underlying challenges these programs address, and where possible, we encourage participation of our members in this work to improve lives. The largest denominational faith organization for women, with nearly half a million members, UWF stands up for better lives for women and a better world for all.
UWF @ Wesley
The fellowship circles of the United Women in Faith meet regularly at church or in each other’s homes. Members undertake mission work on a smaller scale and serve as sources of mutual support and spiritual formation for one another.
Programs and mission opportunities sponsored by UWF at Wesley are regularly listed in the monthly Wesley Herald and the weekly Announcements.
